As part of participation in this RFI, and if appropriate, does supplier agree to use commercially reasonable efforts to undertake or include small or diverse businesses in a subcontracting capacity for our company or indirectly for its general business operations and provide a related supplier diversity plan (upon request) and reporting of such procurement activity?
Yes. CCL Label’s Supplier Diversity program is focused on all materials and services in the label industry available from SBE, MBE, WBE and Veteran Owned suppliers that fit CCL Label’s focus on world-class product, service, and delivery. While the majority of products used to manufacture labels of high quality are not available from Diverse suppliers, there are several categories available. These categories fall into our Customer second-tier category and include: laminate, coatings, freight, pallets and ink systems.
