Explain your company's process for handling Supplier Change Notifications and how they can be better managed.
Written notification is sent to Customer and they are requested to sign and return. Raw material supplier change notification may not provide sufficient time for our Healthcare Customers. CCL Label works with raw material suppliers to delay date of change; or work with Customer to determine material requirement needed to provide them with sufficient notification as well as time to qualify a replacement material if possible. Paper companies have been known to close their doors with limited notification. CCL recommends Customers qualify and approve two raw material products to counteract any risk of product disruption.
